LCD Televisions question by tx220home: Can I use my NTSC plasma / lcd televisions in Europe (PAL)? Do I need a converter or will it work as is?
I have televisions purchased in the US over the past two years (one Panasonic Plasma and two Visio LCDs) that I would like to use in Europe if possible (PAL format). Will this work? Any input appreciated.

North American TVs will not work in Europe for over the air reception. The North American sets are not compatible with the systems used in Europe.
If you are going to watch DVDs (North American DVDs on a North American player) you can do that provided you adapt the mains.
